Enrolment & Payment Policy
Our classes are term-based and terms generally go for blocks of 8 or 10 weeks and correspond approximately with ACT school terms. The class schedule and term dates are published on the class schedule page on our website. We collect expressions of interest from the public to enrol in our advertised classes and names are placed on the corresponding class list leading up to each new term. Payment is made prior to the start of each term by invoice which is sent out by email to those who have expressed interest. New students must also complete a registration form. Enrolment is official once payment and registration form are received.
Payment for the full term is made either by bank transfer into our nominated bank account or by card payment over the phone. Please note all card payments incur a surcharge of 2.9% plus 0.30 cents.
People who are enrolled in a term-based class may attend other classes for the casual rate ($20 or $15 concession) subject to space in the class. We also offer a special discounted rate for yoga teachers ($10).
Payment for casual classes are by cash or EFTPOS (cash preferred).
Refunds for a term-based class (less any classes attended) may only be issued after the first week of classes and not after that. In the case of illness, replacement classes may in some cases be offered during the following term (less any classes attended) upon presentation of a doctor’s certificate.
Missed classes cannot be carried over into a new term, however, if you miss a class you may attend any other class on schedule during the term to make it up, subject to space in the class. Please ring or message us to check before dropping in to make up for a missed class to check space availability. Once term has started and we have a better idea of numbers you may drop in without contacting us, however for planning purposes, it is always helpful for us to know if you will be attending.
If you enroll in two term-based classes in the same term, you may attend any third class on schedule free of charge once a week during the same term, subject to space in the class. Your third free class does not need to be the same class each week but please ring or message us to check before dropping in to check space availability. Once term has started and we have a better idea of numbers you may drop in to your third free class without contacting us, however for planning purposes, it is always helpful for us to know if you will be attending.
Yoga teachers can attend our term-based classes casually by special arrangement and are offered a discounted teacher rate of $10 per class payable on the day.
Casual Classes & Trial Classes
Term-based classes are not open to the general public for casual attendance. However, we can offer a trial class for our casual rate ($20 or $15 concession) if you are new to the class, before you commit to the full term, by appointment. This can be arranged any time during term provided there is still space in the class.

If you enrol in a term-based class and wish to swap over to a different class, you may do so subject to space availability.
Please arrive 10 minutes before class starts to allow enough time to sign in at the registration desk and settle into your space in a relaxed way.
Mats and props are supplied but feel free to bring your own mat if you wish.
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing in breathable or quick-dry fabrics. Feel free to bring/wear something to cover up with at the end of the class. Suitable examples of clothing include: tops – singlet/t-shirt; bottoms – tights/leggings/shorts.
Store bags & other personal belongings in the storage unit next to the registration desk.
Yoga is practiced barefoot (or you can wear non-slip socks). Please remove shoes before entering the studio and leave them at the entrance or, in case of rain in the storage unit next to the registration desk.
Switch off or mute mobile phones during class.
Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes & fragrances.
Practice on an empty stomach, ideally 2-3 hours after your last meal.
Stay hydrated. Hydrate well before and after class. Drink water or electrolytes to keep muscles supple and assist with the elimination of toxins.
Keep the teacher well informed about any injuries, health conditions or concerns which may affect your practice, including pregnancy. Let us know before class, not after, and keep reminding us! Keep in mind that yoga practice should always be done under supervision of a health physician if there are health-related circumstances.
Keep practicing! Expect to be sore. The more you practice, the better you will feel. A regular yoga practice is recommended to receive the full benefits.
Keep a growth (as opposed to fixed) mindset about your practice. Respect your body’s limitations: rest/modify when needed, yet be open to exploring your amazing possibilities!
If you need to leave early, try to spend at least 2-3 minutes in Savasana (corpse/relaxation pose) regardless what the rest of the class is doing, rather than just getting up and leaving.
